Architectural work experience

October 2023 - Present

• Worked on client prototype files and revamped office and drawings standards.

• Took responsibility as architect taking responsible control of various projects done under my review and guidance across multiple jurisdictions.

• Produced drawings while also reviewing others drawings and performing project manager services and code review services for each project. Mentored, coordinated, scheduled and did just about every role that seemed unfilled.

• Field measure and initial project site visits documenting all existing conditions and quirks that us as architect and any consultant should be aware of.

ARCHITECT

• Produced and maintained production files and documents from early schematic stage to closeout of projects.

• Assisted team members with their projects and received assistance in order for projects to be completed on time and of quality.

• Coordinated work with general contractor and owner during construction administration phase.

• Worked on improving office wide standard details for AutoCAD and Revit.

• Collected field measurements of existing project interior and exterior conditions including photography and hand sketching when applicable.

• Produced complete architectural drawing sets for design development and construction document review. AutoCAD and Revit were primarily used to produce documents.

• Worked in Revit and AutoCAD to produce project documents from scratch and continued projects drawn previously by other individuals in Revit.

• Producing construction documents of exterior elements for our client, Northwestern
  Lake Forest Hospital, while helping other team members complete their tasks.

• Reviewing consultant work and coordinating with architecture elements in both the exterior and the interior alongside team mates.

• Coordinating work through CA phase by reviewing various RFI’s and submittals primarily
  concerning structure and exterior elements such as curtain wall and precast.

Construction related work experience

• Coordinated aspects of demolition and construction under general contractor supervision.

• Translated between Polish and English between contractors and workers as needed to keep project flowing smoothly.

• Set up wood columns, trusses, and framing for sausage factory according to plans provided by the owner of the project.

• Coordinated with other volunteers and locals of Jamaica to lift heavy equipment and materials. Heavy machinery was not possible to be brought on site due to remote location.
