"What will the posts be about?"

That is a good question Tomasz, let me answer in the form of a list of topics I think I can cover.

  1. There may be some topics on what to expect when you plan on owning residential property. As of right now, my parents have owned a three unit apartment building for 16 years or so. I have witnessed them go through some bad tenants, some good, and have seen how they interact with people who may be interested in renting the apartment. At the same time, I have now been running property management on an apartment building for 3 years now. So I know somethings that other people may not, especially those who have never owned property.
  2. Since I have done contract work, I believe I can add some input on what to expect from crews. Now, I can not be 100% correct on how things will turn out in the construction process, but I can give some tips on what concerns may come up if you do not plan ahead of time.
  3. The job market is tough on a number of people, and out of all graduates from universities, Architects are one of the few that have a tough time to find a job straight out of school. So what can you do if you expect to graduate in 2015/16/##? As of now who knows, but in my year of graduation it was tough, so I can at least tell you what you should work on to keep yourself ahead and ways to market yourself to potential employers.
  4. Case studies? This will depend on how much independent research I will be able to do and how much I can borrow from projects I am working on or have worked on. This will probably the heaviest research out of everything.
  5. Tech help/tips, architects are not versed in solely building construction, and neither will this blog. Probably cover things from AutoCAD/Revit/3ds max/Sketch-Up etc. and go other things like what to do when you get a new computer or build your own.
  6. I want to say mechanical help/tips, but I am not 100% certain on every car, only the ones I have worked on.
  7. Teamwork in sports.
  8. Learning a language, maybe you can join me in learning German, but I don't see this topic going too far so we will scratch this.
  9. I would really like a few more points to see some double digits.
  10. So I will have to just write one sentence and hit enter.
  11. Until I pass my goal like so.
  12. I am sure there is more I can think of,
  13. but as of right now I am writing as fast as I can so I can make my reviews of what I need to now so there will not be any problems down the line.

Third time is a charm...

Wow, three already, it seemed like only 10 minutes ago I was writing my first entry. How time flies when you are having fun. Spell check works on here, so now you know who to blame when something is misspelled. Just think, A few more of theses and I will be able to see how a few pages are stacked and how everything displays to you, the viewer. Hopefully you do not read these and instead will be able to read other topics that relate to either the potential home owner, potential client of an architect, or as an architect.
